Surely there is no excuse for using donkeys in this day and age. Could the government be lobbied or shamed into producing legislation to force the building companies to ban the use of donkeys and make them use mechanisation. It's disgraceful that it comes down to people like Jean and Bob having to dedicate their lives to help these donkeys when the government are turning a blind eye to the abuse of the donkeys and the people who should be taking responsibility for this atrocity are making thousands of pounds from construction. If this were happening in the UK the government would be thrown out and the construction companies practicing this put out of business. Is there any way we can attack this problem politically or are the politicians there paid backhanders by the construction companies to get the work in the first place and too greedy, corrupt and egotistical to do anything about it?
